In the past year the transformation of the airport customer experience at DXB began, bringing to life plans Dubai Airports had been working on for some time.
To the customer, it started with the introduction of a selection of new and exciting restaurants, cafes and stores. Home grown, unique to DXB concepts like Tranzeet – an American diner with an Arabic flavour – and S34 – the first contemporary Emirati restaurant in the airport were welcomed and has proven very popular with customers. Five restaurants in one at The Daily DXB gives customers travelling as a family or in a group the option to order from a variety of different tastes, but all sit together in the communal spaces. Other new openings included Hard Rock Café with its synonymous Rock Shop, the Middle East’s first stand-alone Nutella café and an incredibly colourful sweet shop – Candylicious.
DXB also welcomed high street retailer H&M, another regional first and an outlet that complements the existing Dubai Duty Free outlets.
February 2019 the new DXB brand was launched to the world, with a Royal seal of approval and the intention to turn DXB into its own destination the was set.
Embodying the spirit of Dubai, the new brand is all set to demonstrate unmatched hospitality, a culture of vibrant imagination, openness to fresh ideas, as well as a mesmerising mosaic of exciting and inspiring experiences.
It will also give travellers the option of choosing from a range of interactive experiences, be it music, art, dance or even fashion, showcasing local culture and celebrating diversity.
